Everything your finance team tracks for its banks
Mero Loan does the work of the spreadsheets, files and reminders that keep a group's bank facilities in order. It does the arithmetic the same way every time, and shows its working for any figure.

Bank limit structures
Build each bank's limits the way the sanction letter sets them out. Totals then come out right without double counting.
- Funded and non-funded limits, sub-limits inside a parent (dedicated or revolving) and combined limits shared by several facilities, each counted once
- Total, used and available limit by bank, by company and for the whole group
- Working capital, group exposure and a cross-bank summary matrix
- Search which facility still has room, and how much, before you ask the bank
Record
Every deal, in its own register
- Hire purchase and term loans, permanent working capital, short-term loans, bank guarantees, letters of credit, acceptances and force loans
- Repay, prepay or settle; renew or extend; settle with a difference when the bank's figure differs from the schedule
- Repayment schedules for each loan, with the instalment, principal and interest taken from the schedule
- Optional approval by a second person before a deal counts
- Acceptances that mature unpaid are turned into force loans automatically, as the bank does
Interest
Interest and base rates
- Each bank's published base rates, and its reset policy (the published rate, or a trailing average)
- Floating-rate EMI and EQI loans that follow each reset in the way the bank applies it
- Late-payment and penal interest on each overdue instalment, worked out to the repayment date
- Commission on guarantees, letters of credit and acceptances, and a check of what the bank actually charged against what it should have
Dues
Dues, maturities and actions
- Upcoming instalments and interest on long-term loans
- Maturities of short-term loans and non-funded facilities, grouped by when they fall due
- Action lists: what to repay, renew, settle or follow up today
- Insurance expiries and NRB margins not yet withdrawn
Risk
Overdue and NRB loan classification
- An overdue statement: principal, overdue interest and penal interest for every deal, as at any date
- Each facility's classification under the NRB rules you set, and when it will move to the next class
- Cross-default: how an overdue at one bank can affect the classification at others
Security held
Collateral, insurance and margins
- A collateral register, with the cover each facility needs and the headroom left
- An insurance register, with expiry alerts
- Cash margin statements for guarantees, letters of credit and acceptances
Reports
Statements and reports
- Statements for every deal, bank charges and every transaction in a period
- Export to PDF and Excel for management and banks
- Dates in Bikram Sambat and AD side by side, Nepali fiscal years, and lakh and crore grouping
- Click any figure to see exactly how it was worked out
Control
People, roles and the audit trail
- A sign-in for each person, and four roles: Administrator, Approver, Data Entry and Retrieval Only
- Every change recorded: who made it, when, and the values before and after
- The history of any record, from the day it was created
